Famous for emerald green water and white sandy beaches Pensacola Beach is one of those places you 'Come for the Weekend and end up Staying a Lifetijme..'
Pensacola Beach is a barrier island located 10 minutes from Pensacola Florida. The Gulf of Mexico is to the South and the Santa Rosa Sound directly North. Pensacola Beach is surrounded on either side by the famous Fort Pickens Park which abuts the Pensacola pass to the west and the Gulf Islands National Seashore Park East. Most famous for the sugar white sand dunes and emerald green water, our paradise is also part of one of the oldest communities in the United States. We are wrapping up our 450th year Anniversary August 15th 2009. Visited by the King and Queen of Spain, a tall sailing ship and then reenacting the 'Battle for Pensacola' were just a few of the highlights. Pensacola was founded on August 15th 1559 by Don Tristan De Luna a Spanish Conquistador. We are the City of Five Flags rich in history, rugged beauty and great local flavor. Pensacola's climate makes our beaches worth visiting any time of the year. On your visit allow us the privilege of helping to find your dream home along the beautiful beaches of Northwest Florida! |
